Recon Pest Control is a veteran-owned, family-operated company led by Jake and Leslie Worley. Their commitment to service began long before Recon entered the field. Jake served five years in the United States Air Force as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller, and Leslie served four years as a nurse in the United States Army. Their oldest of three sons now serves in the United States Navy, making the Worley family military patriots through and through.
Jake Worley entered the pest control industry while working for a friend and spent several years developing his technical knowledge, customer relationships, and approach to service. His customers valued his loyalty, thoroughness, and personal attention. Their continued trust encouraged Jake and Leslie to launch Recon Pest Control together.
What began as a family mission has grown into a team of eight employees. Jake and Leslie remain grateful to God for the company’s success and for every opportunity Recon receives to serve homeowners, support local families, and give generously throughout the community.
Jake Worley grew up in Brevard, in the heart of Transylvania County, and is proud to be a Western North Carolina local. Serving the hometown community that helped shape him carries special meaning, and he is equally honored to protect families throughout Recon’s neighboring North Carolina counties and across the state line in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. For Jake, every service call is another opportunity to give back to the region he has always called home.
